New software speeds up flatness checks on granite and cast iron surface tables
Most manufacturers and users of surface tables require a faster method of assessment, as well as a method which eliminates the danger of human error in readings and calculation. Printed hard copies of calibration certificates are also a requirement these days, as permanent records to prove performance and accuracy.
The new software also allows the results to be presented in a variety of graphical and tabular
forms and printed in the form of a certificate with a record of any additional measurement/environmental
data.
