We trust that your Taylor Hobson Talyvel electronic level is offering you highly accurate and repeatable measurement results, however we have a number of new developments which may improve the speed and analysis power of your Talyvel:

1. Update your old Talyvel 1, 2, 3 or 4 to the latest Talyvel 5 technology:
To upgrade existing Talyvels requires little more than a simple modification to the level unit connector to allow connection to the latest Talyvel 5 display unit. This simple upgrade provides a fine +/-10 second adjustment (on the inbuilt analogue meter) and access to the computer analysis package through the built in RS232 interface. The system also becomes fully portable due to the built-in rechargeable batteries and charger unit.

2. Use our latest Windows 95, 98 or NT® software to analyse your results
(even with Talyvel 1): for enhanced analysis of your results. This easy to use analysis software can be interfaced to any of the Talyvels to study flatness, straightness and twist. If you already use software with your Talyvel, upgrades are available to the latest revision (rev 4) in Windows 95, 89 or NT (Windows is a registered trademark of the Microsoft Corporation).

3. Update your Talyvel 1 or 2 to take standard rechargeable batteries:
The mercury batteries used in previous Talyvels are now obsolete; by returning your Talyvel to the Taylor Hobson service department for a simple refit, your Talyvel will be modified to take universally available rechargeable batteries.
