The Ultra Dual Axis Autocollimator uses the latest camera technology to offer high accuracy and stability over a range of applications.  This wide range autocollimator comes with a laser sighting aid for simple setup and a laptop PC with integrated, icon-driven software for measurement, calculation and analysis of a range of features.

Ultra Autocollimator

With a wide measurement range (1800 seconds) and high accuracy (0.2 seconds) the Ultra Autocollimator is widely used in the machine tool industry for applications such as 2 axis straightness, squareness, parallelism measurement of machine tool slides.  Applications include:

  • simultaneous 2 axis straightness measurement
  • alignment of optical systems
  • flatness measurement
  • lens centration
  • angles of optical components and prisms
  • checking, setting and measurement of angular indexing heads and tables

Ultra Crossline Autocollimator

The Ultra Crossline Autocollimator uses a crossline in place of a dot.  Where there are 2 return images very close together the use of crosslines to measure and differentiate between the 2 images allows clear and easy readings.  Applications include:

  • Lens alignment
  • parallelism between front and back faces of a plano lens
  • alignment of optical systems
  • measuring the angle of optical wedges

Ultra High Precision Autocollimator

The Ultra High Precision Autocollimator is ideal for high precision measurement and indexing of small angles, with a range of 300 seconds and ultra high accuracy or 0.1 second.  Applications include:

  • Calibration of polygons
  • calibration of rotary tables and encoders
  • Alignment of optical systems
  • indexing of small angle
